The Pentecost of Pauline Jaricot… a gastronomic event.
A young tease, in love with her mirror, is touched by the love of God after listening to a Sunday sermon. She changes radically and definitively after her conversion : Pauline gets rid of her wardrobe and mushy novels. Interiorly, above all, she recognises the change in herself, almost in surgical terms, as a kind of transplantation of the heart of Christ into her, replacing
her own heart. From then on, it is not she who lives, but Christ lives in her. Her life is a total gift to God, with a dedication without bounds to tackling all misery and suffering in the world.
